The bass in the jamo speakers is amazing . It has a 200 W active downfiring woofer. But the mid range and high range sound from it was ok.
The overall sound from boston was really good .. better than the jamo. The only thing is jamo has an amazing woofer.

Please help me decide . If there are any other deals in a similar budget then please let me know

First, the links don't work right -- I just get taken to receivers (not speakers)... but the receiver isn't your problem (any of the three are OK choices, and you could add Onkyo and Pioneer as well) ... really it's the speakers.

It sounds like you appreciate both bass and good mid and upper sound. And that you recognize you need to listen not just look at specs. You are also considering some good brands. Good start. That said, you will have to decide what sound characteristics are important for you before you can make a choice of speakers. To some degree this may be guided by the type of music you prefer. For example organ would tend to dictate good bass, female vocals will put priority of mids, chamber music or sitar/tabla will cry out for good sound ... period, while home theatre (movies) will emphasize bass and centre channel performance (You really need to focus on the centre before choosing a HT speaker setup because 75% of the information comes from that one speaker).

I'm not going to try to choose for you, nor should you let anyone else. Some suggestions though:
- try to define what is important to you (bass, balanced sound, centre channel performance, etc.)
- look broader than just Jamo and Boston. There are many other good brands (Klipsch, KEF, PSB, Polk, Paradigm, Totem, Amperion, etc)
- Consider whether a different/additional subwoofer could solve the problem.
- Consider whether an incremental approach might be the answer (i.e. plan to upgrade at some later date ... e.g. add a subwoofer)

See the links below for some recommended / reviewed surround speaker systems. There may be some ideas there.

Good luck.

Go with the Boston with the better speakers. It's much easier to upgrade just the sub later.

Buy the Yamaha receiver with the Jamo speakers. Yamaha are solid receivers.

Keep in mind that you get a LOT of the subwoofer sound from wall reflections. When you listened, the Jamo system may have been setup better.

Live with the system for a month. There is a lot of things you can do with sub placement to optimize the sound.

But later, if you want, check out a better sub like one from SVS or HSU Research.
