YOU ARE SOOOOOOOO KOOL! and i mean that. I appreciate that you did wait. You are the type of person I want my daughter to grow up and be like. You know what, all those fast experienced girls will be bored and end up like that over sexed lady yet unhappy, on Sex and the City. its never good to grow up too soon. I know you might feel wierd and out of place but speaking as a person who waited a little longer than the other girls, i'm happy, inlove and got the total package and YES it was worth waiting for. pat yourself on the back and know things will progress when the time is right. Everyone wants that first perfect kiss and so forth. If you get it you'll be glad you waited and if you dont, you'll be glad you can be more freely to kiss others. ROCK ON!

Hey that's TOTALLY fine that you've never had a boyfriend. I don't think it's weird of all. Actually, I look up to you for that. You know why? I've had a lot of bfs before, and I hate myself for it. I feel like I wasted my time with a bunch of lousy boys that didn't deserve me, and they all ended up bad. And it felt like, with each new bf, I was lowering my self worth. Now, I'm not saying that by having a bf you're going to lower your self worth, but that it just makes it that much better by waiting so long. If I could go back, I would have never dated all those stupid guys. I wish I could have waited like you...and waited for the right guy who was good for me. You're on the right track, wait for the one who's good to you! And if you come across one who's decent....go for it!

Yo Sweetness
This is not "weird" by any definition ! A relaxed and natural allowance of things to happen in their own sweet time is a Much more sensible approach to these "matters of the heart"
than a course of trying to MAKE things happen !!
In some way and in its own due course -- someone will arrive that is the absolute hummer doodah to your zippidy zap !! When this happens -- it will make all of this grrrrrrrrrr go away --- big time !! Patience little one for time is on YOUR side here !! ☼

I didnt have my first girfriend untill Freshmen year in highschool im now a Junior and only had 4 realtionships. dont worry about really, Your just a little shy thats all but what i was told by Commanding Officer was this: "Don't care about what everyone thinks, You have to take chances in your life, Chances you might regret but there's always that new day." And what he means by that new day is that people might forget. They might remember but later on forget. So if you like someone and you talk to him just ask him. If he says no he says no you just got to move on and not worry bout that. if he says yes then Congratulations :D its normal don't worry.

We sound like we were made from the same mold in this department! Im going to be 17 in december and ya same thing. I'm always the best friend/sister. And the guys who do like me dont have enough courage to make the first move, but I do. I wont ask them out but if they think i dont know they like me, ill tell them I do first. so its easier for them to start breaking their barrier. She guys can be the hardest some times.

So good luck!!

When I was 17 I didn't have a girlfriend. Married at 23 and still married after 40 years - perhaps waiting is not such a bad idea.

Cue the applause for you and those like you.
High school relationships are crap. Had one; wasn't too great.

I'm a good guy.. it bugs me when girls have dated a lot of guys... I mean several is fine, but when it takes a few minutes to remember all their names? It really sucks being the last guy in a long chain... good thing that relationship is over... chalk one more on her list :P

Be careful about whom you pick as a first boyfriend!! My first girlfriend cheated on me... Try to pick a friend of one of your girl friends; a guy she can vouch for as being a good guy to date.

I wish you the best!!

Well you have to take some initiative too. I'm not saying to go out there and just become a promiscius girl, but you need to atleast get experience. Talk to a guy you like and go out with him. Your probably the cute, innocent, sweet girl who never bothered with guys, but then one day it hit you! "I like guys and I can't ignore them anymore". Just talk to guys you like and see where it goes. Your bound to get lucky sometime. But don't sacrifice your good nature just for the sake of satisfying your lust. It's not worth it don't settle for second best, find someone whos worth it. good luck ;)

No, that's not weird at all. I know it seems weird given that all your peers are immature high school kids, but you're only 17 and you have your entire life ahead of you to have boyfriends.
