in the past i've messed up relationships by getting intimate too early ): i just recently met this guy, and we aren't officially seeing eachother, but he invited me to a party and he likes to hold my hand and be a gentleman to me and i KNOW he's interested. i really like him so far and i want things to work out. we were in his room alone together and he's really attractive and i wanted to just make out already, but i held back. somtimes it's hard to fight the erges b/c i know he wants it and i want it too, but if waiting a little longer will lead to a worthwhile relationship, it's worth it. how long should i wait to go through each step if i want to start a meaningful relationship?

i guess i would say wait til you know each other pretty well and that you want to be with him. just get to know each other first and slowly work your way there. like kiss first, than slowly move towards other things. you can take your time on it. just wait until you feel like you are completely ready and the relationship is where you want it to be. that's probably all i can say about it. hope it helps.

You definitely want to wait until you have built up a pretty good friendship, and you've established a comfortable relationship. Wait until you've talked about an understanding of where you are, if not a confirmed commitment. You should know where you stand.
Also, build up the sexual tension little by little to spur things on. Not too much, just a promise of things to come. Waiting doesn't mean you can't show him you're worth the effort. By the time the sparks the fly, he'll be so hot for you, and he'll respect you. Good Luck, girl. It is the best way.

Push it back as long as you can... you obviously know that initiating a sexual relationship with someone you aren't too familiar with only complicates things. It confuses the heart and you often times are left with mixed emotions.
If you are not into waiting for marriage.... it's hard to say when... there of course (in today's society) no right answer. You have to make the best decision for yourself... no one else can make it for you. Do your best to hold out.. make sure you and this guy can be a good friend... besides... they all start out nice, that's how they weasel their way in.
Best of luck!!!

I think waiting a little longer would be best, and that waiting is more special. Like kiss him for a week, wait some more for making out, wait some more for more in depth activity. and see where things are going in between being physical, and see if it's worth loosing it to him.

that's all up to you. i don't think it's good to be easy though because once you have sex early then later the relationship gets really dull!

It's all on you. We can't tell you when you should have sex with someone. Go with your intuition.
