...no, not necessarily. It does indicate fear or nervousness about public speaking, which is the most common fear of all (I've read). Those who have never done much of this get self conscious because suddenly there is a new, direct focus to which they are unaccustomed.

Speech classes are intended to assist people with bringing out clear thinking by way of the spoken word. If you have to write your own speech, the challenge grows and the nervousness gets in the way.

A trick here? Relax, breathe, get the attention of the audience ... Then express yourself confidently in a clear voice that indicates your thinking.

Try to be interesting, of course.

I 've spoken publicly a lot; and I still get nervous. I still don't do as well as I know I am capable of doing.

This really sounds like normal nervousness to me. If, however, you begin to hyperventilate (trouble breathing regularly) and feel lightheaded, you might be having a small "anxiety event". You're just nervous.

I'm sure some would say this is a mild anxiety disorder but, unless the behavior is regularly very pronounced or extreme, I'd say "This is pretty normal and very common. If it gets in the way of what you want, ask others about it to see if they might have been the same as you. Let them show you how they overcame their nervousness, It might help."

:)

its nothing that isn't fixable by just working on it. The only way to "get over" something like an oral persentation is to just keep doing them. I had a problem of going infront of people too but in one of my english classes I had to at least 2 times a week and now its not so bad.
I hope this helped

An anxiety attack is an unusually intense fear that limits your abilities and has physical and mental affect on how you think and feel.

An anxiety disorder would be seen in a person who repeatedly experiences unreasonable, irrational fears as a pattern in their life, dominating their behavior in numerous circumstances. Simply put, it takes many anxiety attacks to make it a disorder.

Fear of Public Speaking is one of the most common causes of an anxiety attack.

Don't listen to any voices at all they are not real something in your head is making them real or sound real but they aren't so do all you can to ignore them because they are nothing. I have epilepsy and it is a weird type i get what seems like panic attacks and they always freak me out and i get flash backs to a incenst from my brother, sweetie you have to see a therapist who has gone to school for this exact thing and get the help you truly deserve remember it isn't your fault but a chemical imbalance in your brain please go right away ok...
