The main thing you should be doing is continuing with good oral care, rinsing with salt and water at least 4 times a day, especially after eating, give it a good swirl around your mouth. This will aid the mouth to heal much quicker. How about, runny mashed potatoes, with fish poached in milk. Porridge for breakie with more milk than normal. Stew some fruit. Puree some of your fav veggies. Spag Bog with pasta cut up really fine or use vermicelli. Rice puddings are good. You could look up on the Internet, Invalid cooking, this may give you lots more choices. :-)

Owch! I feel for you! Keep in mind that while soft foods are all you'll probably want for the next few days, low sodium might be a good idea as well. Sodium (most commonly, salt) can burn the heck out of those incisions & you sure don't need that for a while. Canned peaches or other soft fruit are not only the right consistency, but have nutrioional value as well. Drink lots of water since you won't be getting hydrated as much as you're normally used to. Just remember, you'll never have to go through with THIS again!

Soups (try chicken noodle or chicken and rice), pb&j and soft pastas. I would eat ice cream or my favorite when I had my wisdom teeth pulled, a Wendy's frosty. I would take a bite with a spoon and let the cold sit on each side of my mouth. The cold brought down the swelling and I could keep the rest in the freezer until I was ready to eat it again. DO NOT, however, try to suck the frosty out of a straw, use a spoon!

I ate apple sauce, fruit chillers (you can find them with the fruit cups in the canned food aisles, frozen fruit treats!), ice cream, soup (there's cream of chicken and what not, chicken & stars you don't need to chew for that)... uh... what else? Milk shakes... haha. Yeah, lived off all this mushy stuff for about a week and very slowly started chewing tiny easy stuff, working my way up to bread, etc.

Prepare for severe constipation. Hydrocodone and Oxycodine= no poo 4 you.
So get LOTS of fiber. A blender will be your best friend for the next few days. Try potatoe soup, any soft pastas, bananas, ect.
Good Luck hun!

Cream of wheat, oatmeal, jello, pudding, ice cream, mashed potatoes, applesauce, broths, popsicles, scrambled eggs and other soups besides tomato...anything soft works well...just avoid hard foods and anything with seeds. Hope these help :-) and besides when else can you get away with eating all this stuff and not worry about your figure? LOL!

I ate lots of chicken soup. Also I would cut up sandwiches into tiny squares and sort of suck on them until they dissolved. Mashed vegetables or pureed food work or jelly. It's like being a baby again!!!
