Excellent question!
It doesn't say specifically what work entails. It could be housework or errands that many people do on one of their days off. So that could be the argument they would make. Of course many Christians don't follow the Sabbath anymore. Look how full the restaurants and stores are after church on Sundays?
Did Isaiah just say that the Ten Commandments no longer apply to Christians?

I do not think so. I think the Jews take it to far limiting what they can do on the Sabbath but most people have to work every day maybe not paid work but still some house work those who do nothing Saturday or Sunday must be very unusual. or else very rich with servants to do every odd job cooking cleaning and washing etc,

No.

When the Bible talks about "six days you shall work," the point is that you need to take a day off--one day in seven. It is not that you need to work more than five days. The Bible always talks about a Sabbath rest. I don't see anyone being rebuked by God for working less than six days a week.

Not at all. Most people work M-F, use Sat for rest/recreation and Sun for worship.

The OT Sabbath is no longer binding upon todays Christians.

do you find it disturbing that people do not observe the sabbath becuase i would say that happens more often then not working
people causing other people to work on the sabbath and so forth
