I just accept the fact that I will never know what this life is all about. The basic difference between an Atheist and a Theist is the fact that Atheists don't feel the need to make up or believe in some far fetched story just to fill in the gaps of knowledge. In a way it makes the mystery more awesome.

We'll figure it out eventually.
People used to not know where mold, maggots and flies came from. Spontaneous regeneration, etc. People used to not know why the ocean changed tides, the list goes on. They used religion or other bogus ideas to explain all that until they came up with the truth.
History's screaming: 'Hey, look at me' and no one listens. Why hold on to beliefs that are hindering development of society as a whole when we can move on and start thinking tolerably and getting real problems actually solved?

Human knowledge cannot explain everything. we are at a very primitive stage in our development but atheists refrain from inventing gods and demons to fill in the gaps

I am not an atheist but if I were, I would think the unexplained would be God.

No need to make up stories to explain it. Not everything needs to be explained.
