Don't ask. Look inside yourself, look at the world around you, listen to other people's opinions (a little less of this one than the others) and develop your own sense of what is out there. It may be God, it may not be but atleast it will be true to you.
But that's just my opinion, lol

Whether God exists is debateable. There is no definite answer. You'll find out when you die. Personally, i believe in God. And God is not a substance. More like a spirit or entity.

Aesity means self-existence. Aesity explains the metaphysical nature of God as a purely self-existent being that exists in complete actuality. God is not a being that is created by another god; neither does God create himself into existence. Rather, God has always existed as an unchanging, completely actualized being.
God has his Being of himself and to himself such that he is Absolute being and the definition of existence.
Since God’s essence is his nature and God’s existence is the same as his essence it follows that God is existence.

The actuality of the existence of God is demonstrated in human experience by the indwelling of the divine presence, the spirit Monitor sent from Paradise to live in the mortal mind of man and there to assist in evolving the immortal soul of eternal survival. The presence of this divine Adjuster in the human mind is disclosed by three experiential phenomena:
The intellectual capacity for knowing God -- God-consciousness.
The spiritual urge to find God -- God-seeking.
The personality craving to be like God -- the wholehearted desire to do the Father's will.
The existence of God can never be proved by scientific experiment or by the pure reason of logical deduction. God can be realized only in the realms of human experience; nevertheless, the true concept of the reality of God is reasonable to logic, plausible to philosophy, essential to religion, and indispensable to any hope of personality survival.

yes God does exist, but it is something that's impossible to understand, you just believe in it. Here's a little story: there was a church located by the sea, a new follower came to the priest and was very troubled because he wanted to know where god came from. The priest didn't answer him but gave him a bucket and told him to fill out as much water from the sea and throw it outside. The priest left him for hours and then came to him and asked if he was able to take out all the water from the sea. The follower said that's impossible. So the priest answered just as it is impossible for this little bucket to contain all the water of the sea, it's also impossible for our tiny brains to grasp such a huge idea of god, we just have to beleive. I know it is very hard to beleive in something that is not physical or intangible, but may be you should start praying or going to church, and see if that makes any difference in your life.

God is the almighty power who created everything in the universe. If not for God who else would have created everything within our body and around us in perfect order. If not for God, the only other option you have is by "chance". If you go deep into this chance theory what is the chance of your eye getting fixed on the face by chance? Think of all the other probabilities. It could have set itsel on a foot or the palm of your hand. It takes only common sense to understand the existance of God.

You were either created or not. If yes, God is your creator.
God created the material universe. He is spirit and not material.
