I have some eye problems, can somebody give me some detailed information on exactly what disqualifies a person, beyond waiverable, i mean i have them to 20/25-30 with correction so just some information would be helpful

Here's the vision standard with corrective glasses or contact lenses. Anything worse than this is disqualifying:
20/20 in the one eye. 20/400 in the other.
20/30 in the one eye. 20/100 in the other.
20/40 in the one eye. 20/70 in the other.
Refractive error cannot exceed plus or minus eight diopters of refractive index. This is waiverable. The vision standards above are not.

I joined the Air Force which is supposedly harder to join than any other branch (dont know if that is true) and I NEED glasses too, my eye sight is really bad, but since I took the eye exam and barely passed without glasses, I was not required to wear those hideous things they make you wear during basic, others with really really bad eyes, had to wear glasses and than later received lasik eye surgery, compliments of the military.

don't worry u will not be disqualified because of your eyesight......when u go to the meps center talk to the doctor and see what they say
