A Christian must explain that his continued association with ANYONE depends on their respecting his Christian sensibilities.

(Matthew 10:36-37) Indeed, a [Christian]’s enemies will be persons of his own household. He that has greater affection for father or mother than for me is not worthy of me; and he that has greater affection for son or daughter than for me is not worthy of me.

(1 Corinthians 15:33) Do not be misled. Bad associations spoil useful habits.

Leave the JW. Your sister is right
Just see if any JW can explain these verses:

• Is. 7:14 & Mt. 1:23 - Christ is Emmanuel = God with us

• Is. 9:5-6 - a child is born to us, a son is given us... he will be called Wonderful, Counselor, God the Mighty, the Father of the world to come...

• Is. 42:8 - "I am the Lord... I will not give my glory to another”, & Jn. 8:54 - “it is my Father who glorifies me” & Jn. 17:1 - "Father, the hour has come. Give glory to your son, so that your son may glorify you,” & Jn. 17:5 - ”..glorify me, Father, with the glory that I had with you before the world began” & Jn. 1:14-15 -...the glory of Father's only Son, full of grace and truth

• Is. 43:10 - “Before me no god was formed, and after me there shall be none.” - so Christ cannot be “a god”

• Is. 43:11 - "I, even I, am the Lord; and beside me there is no savior." & 1 Jn. 4:14 - ...the Father sent the Son to be the Savior of the world & 2 Pet. 1:1 , 2 Pet. 3:18 - “our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ”

• Is. 44:6 - I am the first and I am the last; there is no God but me & Rev. 1:17-18 - ...He touched me with his right hand and said, "Do not be afraid. I am the first and the last, 18 the one who lives. Once I was dead, but now I am alive forever and ever.

• Is. 45:18 - God is the Creator ; Jn. 1:3 & Heb. 1:1-3 - The Word is the Creator

Family should always come before some B.S., Fake-azz religious nonsense.

You're just a kid now, and when the veil falls from your young mind and you realize that religion in general, let alone the Jehovah's Witnesses (Mormons, Southern Baptists, etc.) is a bunch of "crap-o-la", you can still have a strong relationship with your flesh and blood, instead of alienating yourself from her now over some B.S.

Life is short, and this is the only life we get, so keep your focus on what's important.

what's your element? you're actually not even asking a query, you attempt to deceive human beings into questioning that Jesus is God whilst he isn't. of path Jesus grow to be ideal, and Thomas knew that he grow to be God's Son. Thomas could comprehend it because of the fact Jesus taught that. Jesus in no way claimed to be God. he's "godlike" nonetheless and Theos may be translated as "godlike". by capability of how, the Watchtower teaches wisely, Theos is the Greek be conscious meaning: “divine,” “godlike,” or “a god.” It relies upon how that's used, does it have a diverse or indefinite article until eventually now it. whilst Theos is preceded by capability of a diverse article it capability "The God", as in Almighty God that's Jehovah. no rely if that's preceded by capability of an indefinite article then it capability "a god" or a "godlike" one. you are able to twist the scriptures all you want, basically like the Pharisees whilst Jesus grow to be in the worldwide, yet you will in no way trip up Jehovah's people who genuinely use sparkling reality, not twisted guy's recommendations. Your Yahoo identification identifies you as an apostate. So because of the fact which you have been as quickly as linked with Jehovah's Witnesses you are able to understand by capability of now from sparkling scriptural learn that Jesus grow to be for sure God's Son. how are you able to pass back to the vomit? you're fooling your self. (2 Peter 2:20-22) ***LOL "Olin Moyle". you're each week too late.

Whatever religion your sister chooses she is still your sister. There is no reason to stop hanging out with her or eliminate her from your life.

So you believe in a religion that tells you to exclude everyone from your life that does not share your beliefs.
Honey, that sounds like a cult to me.

EDIT- then your question should have been "what do I do when my sister wants me to do things that are against my beliefs?" not "but then she left (the church) and still wants to do things with me".

you cant hang out with your own sister because she doesnt have the same "faith" as you?
not trying to be disrespectful or anything, but she is your sister after all. if you feel your faith is the truth, then why are you not hanging with her to show her the correct way to act and behave.

Anything that comes between you and your family is unacceptable. You need a new religion that promotes family love and acceptance.

it's like every other religion,if you don't do as they say you can't be in the club, she's your sister, don't turn your back on here because someone tells you to,that is straight up control not love and acceptance.
