How will you feel about god doing this to us? Its because we don't believe, but people of other religions are usually raised in their religion, and atheists simply have had no reason to believe. And for that we are sent to an eternity of torment?

You know. Over the course of the last couple of days I've been reading and answering questions on Yahoo. And the thing I find most interesting is how much the atheists hate Christians, people they see as hateful (which with a few loony exceptions is an oxymoron). If there was an atheist question section, christians for the most part would be praying for you in their responces. But here you are in the Religion section berating Christians. You know I don't believe in the Gods of the ancient Greeks at all and if there was a section on Greek God belief I don't think I'd visit it once, I hate soccer and you don't see me cutting down soccer fans in the sports section. Why do you guys waste your time fighting something that you supposedly think is completely irrelevant. Do you just hate people and want to express it anonymously. Why? And if you espouse so much hate why are you surprised when people you encounter think you might be in jeopardy of going to hell, now where's your logic?

First of all God doesn't send anyone to hell. They send themselves with Whom they've chose to serve. It's all about a choice. As far as Christians enjoying all those that are In hell. After the 30 minutes of silence In heaven, they won't know because they will receive a Glorified body & mind, Everyone has been given a choice to make on Who they want to serve. But In refusing Jesus Christ, you've made your choice already. It's not too late to ask Jesus to be your Lord & Savior. Tomorrow may not come. Eternity Is a long time to be wrong. It's not about a religion or denomination.
It's about a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. Nothing else...

It is a choice only you can make. If you choose not to serve God then you have chosen a different path.

It is not my fault that you have made this choice. God has given all of us a choice on how to live our lives.

God's word says that when we are in Heaven, there will be a new Heaven and a new Earth, for the things of old have passed away. The Bible implies we will have no memory of the things of the past.

Read Revelation:21 & 22. A new Heaven and a New earth will come down from Heaven, we will live in Jerusalem, where the lamb will lay down to a lion and no harm will be done.

God will set on His throne in Jerusalem and thier will be fruit trees of every kind. All of this is Bibical.

Well, I'm a Mormon (not the conventional kind of Christian, I admit). This dichotomy of heaven and hell is not real. When we die, we'll feel much the same as we do now, provided we have always been honest with ourselves.... and also taking into account that once we pass into the spirit world, the love and influence of God will immediately become more apparent.

Atheists do not suffer eternal torment, my friend, even if they never change their minds about God. Torment (punishment) only occurs until the price has been paid (and that price will no doubt be less for many atheists, than it will be for some theists who have lived contrary to their own knowledge of right and wrong).

After the price is paid, we will all live in an eternal habitation that is suitable to the state of our spirits. If one does not like God, one will not be forced to live with Him (or people like him).

To answer your question, if I should end up living with God, and you living in some other place (but NOT tormented!) then I would feel sisterly friendship towards you, as a fellow human being (and child of Heavenly Parents). I doubt it would bother me much that God has allowed us all the freedom to be who we are... both now and in eternity.

Personally, I love God (and would like to emulate Him, if I can), and I hope I will be with Him.

No one does that to you, Jesus went to the cross to save you, and you know this, I'm sure you have been told, if not here, We are seperated from God through our sins, So God sent His only Son who was free from sin as a sacrifice for our sins, in our place, so that we can be saved, it is a free gift, because God has mercy for us, mercy NOW, God loves us so much and wants us to know this, Hence the Bible,It isn't the oldest book around for nothing, God has kept it with us. Think about it. When you truly believe What Jesus Christ did for us, and we repent from our sins, realizing that we are wrong, that we are sinners, we need to turn from them, and ask for forgiveness from The Lord, Ask for the comforter Jesus left for us, The Holy Spirit to come and live inside you, if you do these things and mean them you will be saved.
Now you know that Jesus Christ is our Savior and all we got to do is come with a good open heart and ask, then you don't have to go to that place full of torment.

I would wonder if I ever did my best to tell others about Jesus Christ. And I would also think how to bad it was when I did try to tell others about Jesus only to here that there is no God or shut up, I dont want to hear it. Dont preach to me you finatic! You people are fools to believe in God. It would be worth all of the ridicule for the rest of my life if I could at least lead just one more person to Jesus. We aren't trying to score extra browny points from God by trying to lead unbelievers to Christ. Its because of your worth as a signifigant single soul. An individual that we would rather see in heaven than watch go to hell. What God is trying to do is keep unbelievers out of hell. But the unbelievers are sending themselves there. Stop blaming God for what you refuse to believe. He has done everything that He is ever going to do to insure your passage to heaven. You just wont accept it.

It sounds like to me you are thinking about changing your mind? Why would you even ask this if u were not bothered by it. We are not doing anything to you, you have done it by not believing in christ. Religion is not the answer, Jesus Christ is the way , truth ,and the light. If you reject him, then u will be in torment for eternity. Maybe you should think about your decison.

People go to Hell because they choose to. They knowingly broke God's laws that are written in their heart. You know it is wrong to steal or lie. You have a conscience, and creation testifies that there must be a creator.
You have no excuse.
God will dispense justice according to the amount of light people have and according to degrees of sins. And God is just in judging because He is the one offended, and He has the right over His creations. And those in Hell will continue to sin against Him eternally.
God exercised His judgment on the cross.
He crushed His own son under His own wrath to pay your fine. Now, the just Judge of the Universe can show mercy to you and still be a just Judge. So accept His kindness. He didn't have to save you, but He will if you hear this and repent.
Therefore, repent (turn away from sinful lifestyle) and trust in Jesus to save you from God's wrath in Hell.

As for the people in Heaven, they'll rejoice when God dispenses justice after God's grace is removed from them, and we see them as what they trully are, rebels and haters of righteousness.
