Why do I only attract ugly men?I've only ever attract three guys in my whole life!They have all been short and ugly and have horrible,boring personality's.Now I don't want to be shallow...but I have to have SOME standards...I'm not talking Brad Pitt just something I find attractive in them!
Why don't I attract good looking/okay looking people?!
I'm 16 years old and really shy(which might be part of the problem).
I don't think I look beautiful(pics on myspace) but I don't think I look so awful that I should lower myself to that standard!

I'm not shallow.I said that they have no personality or looks so I don't find them attractive in ANY way.Read the question before you critise,you are the stupid one.Oh and what about all the REALLY shallow people who ALWAYS get hotties?

Well maybe the guys where you are are either blind or gay. Because your beautiful and mayhbe you have high standards and men notice that. SO just be yourself and try just talking with some of the good looking guys and see where that goes

First of all, i've seen your picture on myspace and you are a very cute girl. you have no reasons to worry about your appearance. What you do need is to increase your confidence. You've mentioned you were shy and i understand this is part of the problem. You do not try to attract men you are interested in, you just let men choose you if they are interested. What you have to realize is very often guys you've described do not have a choice but to hit on gils. I mean, they know from experience that gils will usually not be attracted to them so they need to take an action. Besides, they've got nothing to lose. So don't worry, it is not your fault at all. Just make it clear to them you are not interested.
However, if you do want to attract more successful men, be a little more open. If you see a guy you like make sure you look like you allow him to come and talk to you. Just be nice. Smile and look at him. Don't turn away, because guys might understand it as a lack of interest. Good luck.

sometimes the ugly ones are the most interesting personality wise --- i speak as no brad pitt myself --- i cant say ive ever been inundated with ladies wanting to date me --- so i had to develop a good personality --- you do look very attractive at 16 and i think as time passes you will get more attractive (going by your avatar) --- maybe you need to change how you present yourself and i dont mean clothes i mean personality and attitude --- you must be showing a side that attracts a certain personality ---- best wishes

I can understand the fact that your shy and I think that might play a role in your problem. But I discovered that if you put your self out there and make an effort to talk to guys that you think are cute it makes a difference they notice you more then if you just stand there so put your self out there and see what happens good luck

Try being a little less shy and get yourself some guy friends (some nice lookin ones). Don't worry, It'll happen eventually!
