You can't figure it out in one simple step, it's a lifelong process. It's not one of those instant things, it takes time. Life is art and art is life.

This ife is a test. God has offered this test to us for reasons only known to him. If we pass the test we go to heaven and if we fail we go to hell. Passing the test is quite simple. We ahve a text book called Quran and and a perfect teacher called Prophet Muhammad. Also getting through this test only takes a few minor adjustments to the way we live ou lives. And i you ully submit to Quran and the teachings of Propnet Muahmmad you will get a content life in this world aswell.

The first and essential step is to realize that all of our invented purposes are never going to satisfy us because we invent them only to make ourselves feel good. Our human nature demands that we have a purpose for our lives that is worth our lives and just feeling good isn't worthy.
Our purpose is to seek God and come to know the One who created us. Christians believe we do this by loving our neighbor for where love is, there God is also.

The only way that one can typically discover their true destiny in Christ is through a lifetime of full and active participation in all of the work, worship, sacraments, and devotions of the authentic and universal Christian church.
There are no shortcuts.

Turn you will & your life in God's Hands. Trust Him & He w/lead you in the rite direction. There was a beautiful old hymn we use to sing in church when I was young: "Have thine on way Lord, have thine own way, You are the potter, I am the clay. Mold me & make me after thy will, while I am waiting, patient & still". When we surrender all to Him, He will direct our paths.

Pray to God. Ask Christ to show you his will for your life. Surrender your life to Christ and allow Christ to become the head and center of your life.
In general, life's purpose is to love.
