Well, stranger things have happened.
Actually, NO HARM is done. Just overkill to the walls. Kilz is essentially a heavy duty primer for outdoors use on wood or on wood in any location. It is sold more as a sealer then a primer but is does both jobs effectivly.
No need to worry about it. Just wait until it is thourghly dry and go back over it with your normal latex house paint.

RE:
Used oil based primer on water based paint..?
My uncle mistakenly got the Kilz oil based primer, and they used it on their water based walls (bedroom). The room was painted about 10 years ago.. anywho, they primed it about 2 weeks ago, and it doesn't seem to be peeling or anything. Is it ok to now use water based paint on top of the oil...

That's why I don't use it. I even hated to sell it to customers. But ,Yes ,you can use water based paint over oil based primer, just not water based paint over oil based paint. Or oil based paint over water based paint. Oil or Water based paint over Oil or Water Based primer is Ok. I'm Now confused, how about you? (Not really)

Yes the original kilz , oil based ..is the best..the water based kilz sucks...it will not seal out crayons, water marks etc...It is latex paint compatable...Here is me fixing to spray about 30 gallons of it in the black topped cans as a primer..in which the plastic fivers behind thwem is a latex paint..which will spray over it...

I'm pretty sure you can use latex or acrylic paint over the oil based Kilz, but read the label to be sure.
