My daugther's birthday was on October 24 and I totally forgot about it, I remembered it three days later and I cried when I called her to tell her so. She lives with her mom and I work 6 days a week, most of my time is consumed by my work but I love my daugther very much and I would like to make it up to her. What do you people recommend?

Take her out to dinner, just the two of you, father & daughter. Ask the waitress or owner to prepare her a special dessert, put a candle in it, bring it over to the table after you've finished eating and sing Happy Birthday to her.

It's okay, don't feel bad because you are busy mom. She knows that you really love her. Send her a nice fruit basket from Harry and David. http://www.harryanddavid.com. They have some great selections with good reasonable price, check out as soon as you can.

You also can give her a brought visa card that automatically have money on it, $100 dollars would be good. Put the visa card in a nice belated birthday card. On your day-off cook her a nice dinner. God bless

you should get her a nice gift, but the best thing to make up for missing her bday is to give her your time and love. Planning a day-trip could be great! choose a small town neither of you have been to, and go explore it! Tell her she has a certain amount of 'birthday dollars' and have fun letting her spend them. make sure she know how special she is to you!

I might not be a father but you might want to take the day off and do something your daughter enjoys. You could maybe take her to dinner. What you do is based on how much your daughter likes to hang out with her dad.

I would apologize to her. Let her know how bad you feel. I would ask her what she would like to do. Ask her if she could plan the day what would it be like. If it is possible do what she wants. Good luck
