for the past week Ive had bad pain in my left knee. I didn't do anything to injure it and I don't do sports or anything..I can feel my knee cap move and just right now I noticed there was a small round ball thing that popped out from underneath my knee cap and I pushed it back in and its gone but I don't know whats wrong could it be a cyst or something?

Your knee caps could be off their track. When they go off their track they can cause pain and sometimes buckle when trying to move. The ball like thing that you felt could have been one of the joints that the cap sits on.
I would recommend seeing your doctor for further evaluation to see what they think could be going on.
