They love talking about God and His word. I read so many answers that defend their God. Now who can dispute that?

There is a question mark at the end of my sentence.

I love any chance I get to witness or to help with scripture..... I just wish atheists would stop using this site as a sandbox to play in...they rarely have anything to add to the conversation for all thier talk about how much more intelligent they are. They only know how to mock Christians for having faith...

Khana S Makes great points.

I like to learn about different religious beliefs and science amazes me... nature is so beautiful and complex. That is what makes me believe in God.

Yeah, there are things going on and some of the evolution theory may be correct... but I don't believe that such perfectly complex bodies and the perfectness of the changing seasons and how the vegetation grows because it has all it needs... we have all we need.....

I don't believe that there was a "big bang" that created such a perfectly "thought-thru" life system. Even presented with the evidence they have so far... I don't see how this all could be without the hand of God, or atleast some higher power.

I gave up arguing my side and reason for believing a while back. I don't think that I just absolutely cannot be wrong... of course I can be.

We are human, we will never know everything. I have reason to believe in God and I don't think anyone should insult me for that belief. I understand and sympathize with people in their beliefs... everyone has their reason.

I want that same respect. I don't expect it tho...

Disputing with Unbelievers is a wait of time but given them Godly answers if asked sincerely by those who are not demonically driven will open the unbelievers eyes to the truth.

Shalom

I can't.

I try my darnedest not to "preach" or "evangelize" on here. I attempt to answer questions explaining the Christian viewpoint on the issue. I try not to offend and not to insult, but to explain and teach.

However, if someone attacks or falsely represents the Christian doctrines, I will defend them. I will never allow a false doctrine or attack to be let go unopposed.

Have a blessed day.

Becuse for as many answers as they have that "defend there God." I have more... to defend there God. And I have a hell of a lot more reasons they can not explain, and alot more reasons why Asatru is better.

The Christian Idea of One Almighty God and one evil terrible twisted spiteful demented Devil. Is a straight non truth.

Nature tells us otherwise. Reality tells us otherwise. History tells us otherwise. Science tells us otherwise as much as it tells us your right.

There is never only two options. There is always a third, and ussually a lot more. If there Are only 2 forces. There would only be 2 possibilitites.

Which essentially means that perfection as the bible puts it is impossible.

Becuse you can not have your cake and eat it to. (so to speak) You cant make a rock you cant move and still be all powerful.

Thank you Caroline. I do have my beliefs. I don't really have to defend God. He does ok with that. I just feel that I need to justify my personal beliefs...but seem to pick up a lot more thumbs downs these days. That must mean I am doing it right....either that or my Christian counterparts think I am a bozo. Either way...it doesn't matter.....it's all good. I am going to hot tub now. Let the thumbs down begin!

in accordance to our scripture, Jesus became raised a Jew....which meant that he became born right into a kinfolk that had accompanied the Jewish faith....i.e the religion of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. He did no longer come to alter the regulation of the Jews, he got here to fulfill that regulation. to fulfill ability to end what the old testomony prophecied.....which became the start of a Savior...born of a virgin who became to be born interior the city of David (which became Bethlehem). It additionally prophecied that this Savior could be killed by ability of his very own human beings and may be the sacrificial lamb for sinners. all of us understand that the religion of Islam became additionally an offshoot from the Jewish faith....yet an offshoot that chosen to take a diverse course. i can't say something undesirable approximately your faith. Your faith is your faith and is none of my enterprise. yet, i think of you may comprehend that it quite is notably no longer likely that we ought to have self assurance that a 2nd prophet could come after Jesus and practically thoroughly opposite what we've been informed. i could desire to ask....in case you honor Jesus...why then is it which you do no longer appreciate him for what he did and mentioned? He mentioned he became the Son of God. could the main extreme God Bless You.

I can dispute that (I think that's your question)

Just because someone proudly defends their beliefs doesn't mean their faith is strong. It could well be that they #1. Don't want to even consider the possibility that they've been wrong all these years #2. Don't want to consider the possibility that their family has been wrong for god knows how many years. #3. Don't want to consider the possibility of nothingness or the unknown after death. #3. They want to believe that it is correct.

For these reasons, many people will steadfastly cling to a belief system, even when all logic, rhyme, or reason is thrown up against it. Their faith may be weak (evidenced by their refusal to even look at the evidence, or refusal to ammend their beliefs), but their desire to be right (for above reasons) so strong that it seems similar.

Some Christians I've met are really strong in their faith. They aren't shaken from evidence, aren't afraid to look at alternate points of view, aren't afraid of learning more and doing research. And they still believe fully.

Others, though, are always afraid, it seems, of learning things that would conflict with their faiths. For instance, many Christians believe that the Bible has no flaws... when it has many. www.skepticsannotatedbible.com points out dozens of them. Some refuse to acknowledge the flaws even when they're pushed in their faiths. Some accept them as the fact that Man, even divinely inspired, occasionally suffers typos. I found that the most amusing answer to the Bible's flaws I'd ever seen.

So... ultimately, depends on your definition of "sincere"
