And when I'm lying in my bed
I think about life
and I think about death
and neither one particularly appeals to me...

I want to live pretty strongly, because I'm still young, so I haven't completed my personal goals yet, or the general life goals of most people (get married, start a home, have a kid or two, etc).

But really, I think I've had a happy life so far, so if I were to die tomorrow, I don't think I would have been screwed over by Fate/God/whatever.

Life: an option with a lot of predictability, mundaneness, and futility at times. Also filled with a vivid array of emotions, such as love, hate, pity, jealousy, wonder, etc.

Death: the unknown. We do not know what is past this barrier. Fear is the only surrounding death. Is death truly the end of life? Or another stage of it? Death is called 'rest for the soul.'

I can't really answer where I would rather be. Both offer something good and bad.

Wow, this is kind of morbid? Of course I don't want to die (who does) and of course I want to live (who doesn't). I don't understand the context or reasoning behind the question. Perhaps you can elaborate?

How can it be measured?
I would hope I have the same passion to live for Christ as to die for him, if I would ever have to.

I pretty much want to live, but I know I'll someday. I don't think death is the worst thing imaginable.
