Yes, in several ways. I expect people to put me in check when I am out of line and I do unto others the same. I also give forgiveness as well as expect it back. I want limits placed on me for respect and I give the same back

Odd that this question would come up when our home is under attack by people making false accusations against us. But yes, I believe in the eye for an eye concept but not on the level of what is said in the bible but on the level of LOGIC. Those who do bad against us will get it in return and those who do good "for" us will receive the same. THIS is the only way to let those who are ***holes know they will not get away with doing bad to others. If they seek forgiveness let them receive it from their "GOD" and not those they hurt.

It's the basis of good morals. I always keep this one in mind. Also known as the golden rule. Much older then when Jesus said it. People such as Plato and Socrates quoted similar lines.

OH YES! And I find that most of the time it works out to my benefit. I teach my kids this too. I really do this in my everyday life and if more people would just stick to these basics, life would be better for everyone, I think.

Yes I really do try, respecting others, their perspectives, and just being considerate. When you do as Jesus does, you feel the Holy Spirit within. As we do this, the light of Christ will shine through us and will actually appear in our countenances.
