ok... let me explain.
im seven months pregnant..
and my ex boyfriend along with his friends..keep calling my cell phone saying they or they will find some girls to come and "beat me up" ..
i was wondering what would their consequence be

The same as hitting a girl who's not, I would think. Severe is a word that comes to mind.

Well to start with it's a felony 3 degree. I work for the Clerks Office where I live and I work in the felony criminal dept. The incident should of involved calling the local authorities and filing charges as this is a serious offense and the person should not be allowed to get by with hitting a pregnant woman. This is an aggressive action and where there's one incident there will most certainly be more. Don't ignore this. Call the authorities or your local prosecutors office and file charges. If this person was aggressive enough to hit someone that is pregnant than the next time may be worse and this could cause injury to you and/or the fetus.

You can be charged with manslaughter in many states if the mother miscarries at a certain stage of pregnancy (I know for sure third trimester, not sure if it goes back to second). If you caused a miscarriage you can be convicted and thrown in prison. I get the impression people don't really like baby killers in there. I would tell you to lawyer up but prisons were built for people like you. So lawyer up if you must, but I don't know that it will help...

Well it actually depends if the young lady decides to call the police. If the police are called it could lead to jail time for assualt. Also depending on how hard and where the young lady was hit could lead to a miscarry, inturn result in more jail time for murder. Hope this helps.

they will get a charge of aggravated battery on a pregnant woman.In most states that is second degree felony punishable by up to 15 years in prison. In my oppion somebody thats hits a woman is a sissy that would not fight a real man anyway.

Murder charges if she loses the baby! or simply Assault & Battery if the baby survives
Record the phone calls and get an order of protection. They are sick puppies to pick on a pregnant woman!

I'm sure they could be arrested for assault and, if the girl would suffer a miscarriage I think criminal charges would be in order. You need to tell the police now that you were threatened and tell them by whom and if necessary you can put a restraining order on all of them.
