Just posting this question here guarantees more than one perspective.
The Christian Perspective: One heaven. One hell. One God who desires all to go to the first, but knows many will reject Him. Rejecting Him is granted, sadly. Those people will receive their wish of being free from God.
Know that He isn't accidentally sending people there. He isn't sending people there arbitrarily. He doesn't even send them there out of sheer cruelty.
People either *want* God, want all that He is for all eternity, or they don't. This is where God will do anything possible to reveal Himself, to bring us into relationship with Him, to get us to the beautiful end.
People who don't want God, don't want what He is or all that He desires for them. . .get what they wanted.
Two ends to the story: eternally with God or eternally without Him. And, it's a choice that we all make. When all is said and done, no one will really be able to say, "Shucks, I didn't know You meant that for real, God!"
Other Perspectives:
*A short stay in some Limbo Land while others pray.
*Another life in another creature/body.
*A body decaying and eaten by worms.
*Nothing happens.
*A stair-stepping approach. . .you'll get to God someday, eventually.
*Travel to your own planet and be your own god.
I'm sure there are more. Those are the ones I could think of off the top of my head.

I believe that we get too caught up about religion. God wants us to be people who have a relationship with him, to be real, not real religious. No one can judge who will go to heaven or hell, it depends on what is in that persons heart!

well here it is my dear soul
there are many terms for Heaven in the Norman Namannii Tradition for which I follow we refer it to as Vahalla and the God for which is all mighty is Oddin and his son Thour who weilds the mighty Hammer. no one Religion is Right nor Wrong it is a persons beleif as to what they are and what they have done to go there. and as for hell as spelled out in most cases.for us it is HEL (note one L) everyone goes regaurdless of Creed only the brave and honord may cross the Rainbow Bridge into Vahalla. to sit with the Gods. so keep your Faith and your Honor and you to shall Pass. sincerly the RAVEN

Every religion has their own version of an afterlife and holds that theirs is the truth and the others are false. Or ignores the other versions. Same as they do with everything else. So it all depends on which religion you follow.

One Heaven, one Hell. God doesn't send anyone. We choose for ourselves. If you truly want to go to Heaven, you will make it your business to figure out how get there.

There's only one way and one heaven. It's through believing in
Jesus Christ as the God/Man who paid for your sins and is the
Savior of the world.

"I can't believe god would send somebody to hell just for not believing in him the same way or at all."
I can understand why you wouldn't want to believe that but we can only know about God from his self-revelation to us through his son Jesus and from the writing of his divinely inspired prophets.
The Bible clearly teaches that it is God who chooses whom He is going to save, that all of humanity is guilty of breaking His laws, and that all deserve to be punished for their disobedience but that He has chosen to save some because of his love, grace and mercy.
John 3:16 "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life. 17 For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but in order that the world might be saved through him. 18 Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only Son of God.
John 6:43 Jesus answered them, "Do not grumble among yourselves. 44 No one can come to me unless the Father who sent me draws him. And I will raise him up on the last day.
Ephesians 1:3 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us in Christ with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places, 4 even as he chose us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and blameless before him. In love 5 he predestined us for adoption through Jesus Christ, according to the purpose of his will, 6 to the praise of his glorious grace, with which he has blessed us in the Beloved.
Ephesians 2:4 But God, being rich in mercy, because of the great love with which he loved us, 5 even when we were dead in our trespasses, made us alive together with Christ--by grace you have been saved-- 6 and raised us up with him and seated us with him in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus, 7 so that in the coming ages he might show the immeasurable riches of his grace in kindness toward us in Christ Jesus.
8 For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God, 9 not a result of works, so that no one may boast. 10 For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them.
Just because a person doesn't believe something about God doesn't make it true or false. In fact, when a person claims to know something about God that runs contrary to what God has revealed about Himself then they are in essence creating a god of their own imagination, a mental idol that exists only in their own mind.
It isn't "religion" that comes into play. What matters is that all have sinned and that God sent his dear Son Jesus to live a sin free life, fulfill all of the law, and then offer Himself up as a sacrifice for the sins of all who would by faith accept God's sacrifice for their sins.
