Sounds like you have become stagnant in your walk. Maybe you have grown to the maturity level of every one else in your church. You are not challenged. Take a thought that is outside of your churches teaching and study on it till you can dis prove or defend it. For instance: " Jesus died for every persons sins 2000yrs ago and now there is no need for asking forgiveness. The only place you will find the word supporting this as wrong is in 1John1:9. Which by the way ,in context, isn't written to the believer but to the narcissist.

God's forgiveness is already there ask and you shall recieve.
So now you need to forgive yourself.Whilst you feel that you have done something seriously wrong have you really. What harm ,malice, anger ,deceit or injury have you caused anyone , certainly not God.
Perhaps you are questioning your religion , that's a good thing because you build discernment and find the finer points of your beliefs
Of course you can do everything out of your own God given ability and of course it is God's benevolence that allows this to happen, there is not a moment that God is not present just remember that your successes are with His assistance but He wants you to grow and be sure of yourself so does not always let you know when He's there.
Ther's an old saying Absence makes the heart grow fonder, so now you realize how much you love love God .
You will not die or go to Hell just keep him in your heart and you are in prayer all the time

You make the decision to accept Jesus as your Lord and Savior and keep reminding yourself of that fact when you start to think stupid things.
You can not earn your way to life ever lasting with God. You can never be good enough on your own. That's why Jesus came down here and died for your sins.
The spirit is willing, but the flesh is weak. Don't worry, pray all the time.

Some things are good and healthy to be afraid of. And if you didn't get scared, it would probably mean that you didn't believe it.
Do you want to see Christianity boiled down to a couple of verses? Here it is:
17 For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him. 18 Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe stands condemned already because he has not believed in the name of God's one and only Son. ( John 3 )
That's it! You can now see what you are contemplating. Religion can make trusting God so complex. Jesus made it simple. Start there, and God will lead you to whatever is next. That's between you and Him.

There are a couple good answers here. Some times in our fallen nature we get used to God always being there for us and we take it for granted and get wrapped up in life. It doesn't just happen with God but with our parents, spouse, etc. Doesn't mean that we lost favor. Your heart is in the right place by seeking your place in the kingdom. Satin is very crafty in deceiving us into thinking we are not worthy of God everlasting residence in our life. Just go to Him and thank him for already covering all sins, past, present, and future, never to remember them no more, and ask him for faith. All you have to do is ask and seek your answer.

My understanding of God and Christ tells me that you will not go to hell if you are leading a good and moral life.
Certainly if you truly believe you need to return to being more prayerful, then you should work on doing so. Personally I think if you are genuine in your prayers and pray less frequently it's fine. It's quality, not quantity.
I think you'll be fine. I don't think Jesus would want you to be sick with nerves over this. Maybe I"m wrong, but I don't think so.

nicely, i do experience that that's pointless to declare "hell" in maximum situations..AND all persons individuals do not do it. Its very generalizing. i'm American and we are actually not ALL approximately John Wayne. That became right into an prolonged time in the past and not in this technology. we don't all trip horses and shoot bow and arrow. it somewhat is an previous stereo form of people. Its form of asserting all Brits have undesirable tooth..not all Brits have undesirable tooth.. i assume a small inhabitants does..yet not ALL.

It sounds like you are under a spiritual assault where the deceiver has slowly been leading you away from the faith and now that you have become aware of it, is trying to sabotage your efforts to regain a strong faith by telling you lies about God and your self that will discourage you and get you to give up.
Get into the Bible and get into Christian fellowship and pray despite your feelings. Humble yourself before God, then resist the Devil and he will flee from you at least for a season or a more opportune time.
James 4:6 But he giveth more grace. Wherefore he saith, God resisteth the proud, but giveth grace unto the humble. 7 Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.
1 Peter 5:6 Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in due time: 7 Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you.
8 Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour: 9 Whom resist stedfast in the faith, knowing that the same afflictions are accomplished in your brethren that are in the world.
10 But the God of all grace, who hath called us unto his eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after that ye have suffered a while, make you perfect, stablish, strengthen, settle you. 11 To him be glory and dominion for ever and ever. Amen.
Luke 4:12 And Jesus answering said unto him, It is said, Thou shalt not tempt the Lord thy God. 13 And when the devil had ended all the temptation, he departed from him for a season.

Pray every day and it will get better. God loves you no matter what, it is hard for all of us to feel loved for at all times, but God honestly loves us all, all the time. Accept Jesus into your life, pray for him to enter into your heart. It all comes with time, and we all have those times when feel lost, stick with it and it will come, it did for me and I still feel lost but I know that I am always with God, and he always loves me.
God said : I know the plans I have for you, plans to prosper you , not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.
Love him and you will have future with him.
