I assume that it’s to serve god and get to heaven, right? Now what doesn’t make sense is that god supposedly knows where every soul is going, even before he made the universe. So then, why have a life to live first? Free will you say? So, lets examine the process of life and death as god made it. If you believe in him and die, you go to heaven and god gets credit for bringing you there. But if you sin and go to hell, god is blameless because of free will. Even though god knew you were going there from the begining, it’s still your fault because you made the decision.
SO, what is gods reasoning to create a mortal life for eternal souls? By this logic god has created a mechanism to condemn large amounts of souls to eternal torture by using a loophole that absolves him of any wrongdoing. Smells like spiritual genocide to me. Any thoughts?

I think your reasoning is flawed. Pre-knowledge doesn't take away the fact that we still are free to make choices.....him knowing something does not make us unfree to do it, or take away our free will.
God "gets credit" as you put us, however, I think you are not looking at this the way we do-God WANTS us all to be there, and he ALWAYS welcomes us, some of us take advantage of it, some of us do not.
As to your real question, which is basically, "What is the point of life if some of us are predestined to go to Hell", I have 2 responses 1) Preknowledge is NOT the same as Predestination. God did not create us so that we would perish, he gave us a way out-he might know that some may not take it, but he did not create us so that we would go to hell
and 2) I do not know why we are here. No one does. We just are.
Try to have a good life.
I hope I answered your question and shed some light on our belief process. Have a good one!

I would say that you are missing a few pieces of the puzzle and if you don't believe in anything out of faith, which your avatar and screen name prove, it will make no difference to you anyway.
The point of Mortal life is to gain a physical body for a brief period of time so that you may understand the flesh. There was a spiritual life before and there will be a spiritual life afterwards. The point is to learn while you are here. If you read the scriptures as a whole and then put it all together, as opposed to using a few verses here and there, it states pretty clearly that only those who commit the "unforgivable sin" (taking someones life or knowing of God's existence and denying Him) will be cast to Hell. Jesus Christ's Atonement on the cross paid the toll for us to return home to God.
If Christ had not come to do so, yes, there would have been a lot of us going to Hell...and with express tickets on the train. That is why He was sent.
I firmly believe that we chose the path we were going to follow before we came to earth. We have, through the process of free will, the chance to change our path for the worse if we chose, but that is up to us. Do I have all the answers, no. Does the Bible make sense to me, yes. Do I believe that God wants me to fail, no. That is why Jesus came to the earth to show us the way and that is why I chose to try and follow His example.

Smells like an athiest using "logic" to make a point. However you need to study the scriptures more and listen to others less. Logic is important but the only question is "Is there a God?"
Why not ask him for yourself

I'm sure your mind is made up but let me start with your quote, "I assume that it’s to serve god and get to heaven, right?"
I disagree. The chief aim of man is to glorify God and to find our joy in Him forever. To glorify God means to seek God, to let God reveal Himself, to know God and to proclaim His character. Christians think one way we do this is by trying to obey His command to love one another for where love is, there God is also.
God is proposing a supernatural communion (or relationship) of love. God proposes that He will make us His sons and daughters. Love cannot be separated from free will so we have to be able to choose to seek Him or reject Him. I don't know exactly how that comes about in our lives, but I think it does.
Also, I don't think anyone rejects God by honest mistake, the emphasis on the honest part.

Yes, God knew what was going to happen to everyone before he made the universe, but he wants us all to see what is son did for us.

God has as much faith in us to worship and serve Him, as we do of Him and His promise of a better life after this life. Read the book of Job in the Holy Bible and you'll see God's faith in man.

This life could be viewed as a form of Purgatory, a temporary place where we decide what is most important to us, God or ourselves...
