You need to find a new boyfriend. It looks like, in your emails about him, that you don't share his values.
Could it be that you are scared because you have made a mistake in liking him?

Your BF sounds pretty selfish! I think you should talk to him and tell him how you feel bc a true relationship is about sharing and how, driving each other cars is not such a big deal. Do you have your own car? if so, I would just drive my own but as women, we know that the situation is more then JUST a car! so talk to him and try to make him understand.

What's scary about this?
Have you crashed your own car, or anyone else's? If not, he's just overly protective of his car. If he paid for it himself, I can't blame him!
And if you HAVE crashed a car or two... I wouldn't want to drive on the same road as you, let alone let you drive my car!

Men love their cars girl. It's like part of their heart or something. They will put their car before their mom, kids, wife. So he may not let you drive it..Ever. That's just how much they love those cars

You don't make him let you drive his car. It's his, it's his decision. He pays the insurance and therefore, he makes the choices. Get your own car if you're so concerned about driving.

I was like your boyfriend for like 2 years with my lady. Then I let her drive a couple times. Now, I only let her drive on a "must need basis".
It's perfectly normal, just learn to deal with it.
Good Luck!

do you really want to be called Crash Bear? most guys are very jealous about their cars, not letting even good drivers drive them.

Don't. There is a thing between a guy and his car. That is a barrier that cannot be broken. Mess with that and you might as well say good by to your boyfriend.

He shouldn't let you! If you did crash it, and you aren't on his insurance as being allowed to drive it, he would be screwed out of a lot of money.
