I've long wanted a snaphance locked musket. I've seen several original Dutch model locks inside and out, but never when I can photogragh and measure. Winter is coming on and this should be a challenging project. It will be challenging enough with directions. I'll do it without if I must, but it'll take longer.

Doc, thanks. The book looks like one I need anyway. It'll give the kids something to burn when I die.
I'll check they other, but really, I'm just another ham fisted hack if I don't make my own parts.

Thanks, the last time I checked either of those there was no Snaphance gear at all, that's not to say nothing will be added.
I think that one day I'll end up with a Track of the wolf Jager, but that's a few years off.
