Simply put it is a beverage that contains no alcohol but mimics an alcoholic beverage. Serve in the same glass as the alcoholic version. In most bars mocktails are called "virgin" and are charged at a highend soda price ($4-7)

* 1/2 cup orange juice
* 1/2 cup lemon-lime flavored carbonated beverage
* 1 tablespoon grenadine syrup
* 1 maraschino cherry

DIRECTIONS

1. In a tall glass, combine orange juice and lemon-lime soda. Pour grenadine in and let it sink to the bottom. Garnish with a maraschino cherry and a straw for stirring.
