You don't consider inciting violence in the temple as a sin?

He wouldn't have balked at being called good if he wasn't sinful, now would he? Unless he lied, but then thatwould be a sin.

"God made him who had no sin to be sin for us, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God."
II Corinthians 5:21

"To this you were called, because Christ suffered for you, leaving you an example, that you should follow in his steps.
"He committed no sin,
and no deceit was found in his mouth." When they hurled their insults at him, he did not retaliate; when he suffered, he made no threats. Instead, he entrusted himself to him who judges justly. He himself bore our sins in his body on the tree, so that we might die to sins and live for righteousness; by his wounds you have been healed. For you were like sheep going astray, but now you have returned to the Shepherd and Overseer of your souls."

I Peter 2:21-25

"Such a high priest meets our need—one who is holy, blameless, pure, set apart from sinners, exalted above the heavens. Unlike the other high priests, he does not need to offer sacrifices day after day, first for his own sins, and then for the sins of the people. He sacrificed for their sins once for all when he offered himself. For the law appoints as high priests men who are weak; but the oath, which came after the law, appointed the Son, who has been made perfect forever."

Good one. The brain-ants are really stirred up.

Consider that the masses used to demand the sacrifice of a virgin girl and they shifted to a virgin male. So the legend is a substitute for human and animal sacrifices and the cannibalism is assuaged by the ceremony with the wine and the bread.

Romans 3:23 For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.

Jesus did not fall short of the glory of God because He IS God. And He never sinned. See the following passage.

Hebrews 4:14 Therefore, since we have a great high priest who has passed through the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast our confession.
15 For we do not have a high priest who cannot sympathize with our weaknesses, but One who has been tempted in all things as we are, yet without sin.

As for your second question, finish the quote.

18A ruler questioned Him, saying, "Good Teacher, what shall I do to inherit eternal life?"
19 And Jesus said to him, "Why do you call Me good? No one is good except God alone.

Jesus said that no one is good except God alone. He said this in response to being called "good teacher." Jesus wanted Him to see that if He is good, then He is also God and should be acknowledged as such. He objected to being called a good teacher and nothing more.

Heb. 9: 28
28 So Christ was once offered to bear the sins of many; and unto them that look for him shall he appear the second time without sin unto salvation.

No. In fact, Jesus probably never even existed. There is no evidence of him existing until about 100 years after his death. Imagine there being no written records of WWII until 2040!

For someone who is supposed to have been born to a virgin, performed insane miracles, ascented into the sky after he died, and then come back from the dead, you'd think there'd be historical records!

Jesus had to be sinless for it to be a sacrifice. You are taking the scripture out of context by the way. The answer is why callest me thou good..He should have answered for you are the Christ.

The better question is was Jesus tempted? Apparently being exposed to a sinful situation is not sin, when does it become sin?
