My girlfriend wanted to go to a matinée movie today so she made plans with me last night. I call around 11 and she is back home (an hour away) getting her hair done, I said well since your home we don't have to go today because I don't want you rushing up here. She said no she wants to see the movie with me today and wants go to the 7:10 show. I'm like okay. About 4:00 she calls me and says her friends wants to catch up with her so we might have to do the 9:10 show. I'm like okay. Now its 9:12 p.m. and I called her and she didn't pick up. There is an 11:20 p.m show but I doubt we will be going to that as her friend is supposed to be coming up here tonight.
So I'm kinda pissed because I already told her it was fine that we could have went tomorrow. I could have made other plans. Now I'm debating going to see the movie with my friends in a few hours. Should I be upset and what should I do?

go to the movie by yourself and if she gets upset oh well she will get over it . she cancelled on you . good luck .

Go with your friends. Tell her to be upfront with you. You can do other things besides sit and wait for her. If she wants to go with her friends fine but she needs to let u know so u can make other plans. Tell her that it's not fair for her to keep you on standby and ruin your whole weekend. If it continues, perhaps you might consider seeing someone who will be more respectful of you and your time

Be upset. Go have a good time. Discuss it with her tomorrow.
