I know they normally heal from the bottom up. Will this heal from the back to the front? I see a little black in the "bottom" is that the clot? It is hard to tell under the white tissue. I am 3 weeks into my healing process. Will the clot be absorbed or fall out? Not sure how it works. Thanks!

The tea bag is a nice tip... although I think it would have been more helpful 3 weeks ago when I was bleeding. Thanks anyway though.

It also will heal from the bottom up. The overall healing process (bone and everything) will take fully 6months. In the next couple of weeks though, the socket should be pretty well healed and the "white stuff" should be pretty much gone. If the pain is mostly gone, you should be in good shape. You may need to flush out the socket area for some time, however, as the bone gets healed.

I got a good tip from my dentist when I had my wisdom tooth out he said to put a wet teabag in my mouth and gently bite on it as the ingredients in the tea will stop my gums from bleeding and help heal the sore gum

THIS CLOT WILL EVENTUALLY DISAPPEAR AND BE REPLACED BY PINK HEALTHY GUMS. FEAR NOT, ALL IS WELL.
