Ignore them as much as possible. Look intensely into their eyes, and ask them "Did you need something from me?" Then walk away without hearing the answer.
Or you could simply tell them "It is not your business" or "I don't discuss that subject with others."

I so feel your pain.... Lucky for me, I ignored her and was able to have some kind of normal wking environment. My supervisor (also hers) knew everything about the situation so that helped. She actually intervened a time or two. Hopefully you don't have it that bad, but if so, you may want to enlist the help of your supervisor..... Good luck!

If it's a co-worker, kindly tell him/her that you would like less time to socialize, and more time to work. This should help keep him/her away. If that doesn't work, let your boss know immediately.

ask her if it's in her job description to be up your 9ass all the time? or if you can't be that mean say, "do you get paid to watch what i do, or to do your own work?" i think you'll have to be a little aggressive to get your point across. or you can start doing to her what she does to you if you want to start by being more subtle.
