I'm thinking primarily of Scandanavia. These are generally considered model states. They seem to be doing exceptionally well without religion.

Ah, but you see a fundamentalist would not say that they are doing well. All that sin!!!

It's a matter of perspective. Alternatively, they might decide to argue that there really are a lot of Christians, but they are quiet about it, or that the few they have are very staunch. When you're looking for an explanation that does not need rely on facts and evidence, you can speculate all you want.

The true atheist states where religion was banned were the USSR under Stalin, Chinal under Mao and Cambodia under Pol Pot. They murdered tens of millions of their own people. Nice record. You don't seem to mention them.

I do not think that the "quality" of life and religion really have anything to do with each other. How do you think prisoners on death row think their quality of life is, weather they have accepter Jesus or not? They are still in prison. I think people get quality of life and a life with a purpose mixed up.

in addition they have some thrilling stops for persons who're into bestiality. The Bible says that God makes the sunlight to polish on the merely and unjust. In different words, you do no longer ought to have confidence in God to be triumphant materially. i'm satisfied for Norway that they are doing so properly. It does not coach God's nonexistence to me, merely proves that he's keen to grant all of them they time He can to get to be conscious of Him. Edit - frequently conversing education, extra suitable existence expectancy and something stick to fabric achievement. damaging people can no longer take care of to pay for education and scientific care and issues like that.

The former Soviet Union and China arent exactly places I want to pick up and move to. Why did you ignore them?

It seems that it was gvts that have tried to stamp out religion and God were the ones that have killed the most people even if people want to claim it was religion that has done it. Communism has killed more people than any other gvt type.

I think you need to study your history and geography a bit more.

The State Church of Norway and Sweden is the Lutheran Church.

The only counties which are officially atheist are Russia and its communist buddies.

Those counties did very badly under atheism.

You are assuming a materialist standard of 'quality'. Christianity isn't about materialism. Apples and oranges.
