the short film was about a single mum of 4 yeah 4 kids!!! she went to a pub and didnt tell the fella she was a mum etc. she left the kids outside all day and night the kids had nothing to eat (very sad to watch im a mum of 2 little girls) anyway she was about to do the deed with the fella in his car outside the pub and told her kids a minute before they came out to move away as all the drunks were coming out soon. well she didnt do it (s**) as her young baby cried in the distance as a wasp went in his mouth and she heard him etc. the fella drives them all home baby is ok by the way and they have chips as the kids are starving. xxxxxx

I agree,I watched it aswell it was really good and moving and those girls especially the older one were good actors,it was very believable and at times sad,I mean it was like the oldest child took on the role of being 'The mother' such as sharing out the food, but what I thought was very moving is when those men were walking by and dropped their food on the floor and the children started eating it,and I understand the mum wanted time out,but the children were left outside and I felt bad for them,I mean the girl even questioned whether they should have gone home, although the mum should have been looking after them Iam sure she did care but she wanted some freedom,it also showed the hard times that they went through, and what people in the town thought of the mother, and the ending was good aswell and the fact that from what we saw they did stay together and were happy after all of that.I also believe that all parts were acted very well, and although the film was Short it was watchable and moving.

Hi Sue
I know that films can be a little heart jerking and sometimes they can be very thought provoking, but what about the poor wasp he has a mom too you know LOL.
I think that sometimes in desperation parents do foolish things because they don't think through their actions or possible repercussions. Loneliness and stress can be desperate encouragers of people to do things which they later regret or wish they hadn't done.
Fortunately though not a good thing to do the mother in this film appears to have come out okay and hasn't lost her child or children and the wasp presumably didn't actually sting the baby in the mouth as this would have been very serious.
Also she seems to have got the guy too so all has ended well but how easy it might have been to have ended badly.
Bye

i think the real sickos are those who are filming it rather than getting those kids into a caring home where their needs will be met by reporting her to the authorities for neglecting her kids by any definition of the word
