There's a girl i really like, lets call her Emma. Me and some mates (both male and female) went to see one of our friends in a play. Emma went along too and at the end we were all saying goodbye and I got a hug off of Emma - she approached me for it. This probably doesn't mean anything, but still. I can talk to Emma really easily as well and I just really like her - alot. Can someone please advice me on what to do next? Thanks.

Tell"Emma"just how much that hug meant to you,you'll be able to tell by her response if the hug was any more than a hug,It may have been,if not it saves face and you can continue being friends without her knowing that your feeling went deeper.

next time your with your friends try to hang out with her all by yourself and make sure your in a really good mood
then put your arm around her or something in a playfulish way
then, if you get the chance, kiss/makeout with her
the next day or that night ask her out over the phone :]

send her a note, telling her you enjoyed having her out with you and the others at play and ask if she would consider going out with you again.....and make a date for a movie or lunch.....something informal and fun,
