I've heard that he's at the highest level of Scientology.
Does that mean he forked over a ton of money to get there?
About how much?
And if so,
What are the merits of that?
What does he get in return besides knowing a little bit more of a story. Or is that it? What are the merits of being the highest level of scientology?

I don't need responses on how dumb /fake/stupid Scientology is. (I know that.) I just want answers to my questions.

The idea that he makes money being a scientologist is just guesswork. People think that any celebrities must be getting paid to say they are scientologists.

As to how much he paid for his levels, that depends on how much auditing he needed. The final stages are an hourly rate like time with a therapist. I havent seen anything that says that he is at the top but if he is then he did it pretty quick so it must not have cost much. At any cost Im betting that its still less than the cost of other religions for reaching the top and better promises than they make :-)

The abilities of being OT (operating thetan) is full control of your personal space. No one in his past, or present, would have any ability to "push his buttons" so to speak. He would be free to make his own future and happiness with no baggage.

aThe last I heard Tom Cruise was an OT7. It costs the average person $360,000 to get to this level. I'm sure Tom Cruise has given much more than that because he was given an award for being the highest contributer ever. When you reach this level you supposedly can read minds, move objects and even kill people with a thought. They can leave their physical bodies and go back in time or into the future. So far no one seems to be able to prove that they obtain these qualities and that's why many people leave when they get to this level. Because after spending all this money they find that it's all BS and they don't achieve what they were promised.

To find out more info on the levels of scientolgy go to Operation Clambake at www.xenu.net. It's one of the most current and accurate research sites on the subject.

Tom Cruise is a level 62 scientologist. Pretty powerful but not the highest level which is 99, the highest number the system can fit since it used a 2-digit field for the character's level. At level 99 a scientologist will have 9435 hp and will be able to shoot swords out of his face that shoot out gun and the guns shoot out poisoned other guns

To get to his level require lots of money.
Money being forked over to him and the "church".
Scientology was founded by Hubbard, a science fiction writer. And no, there isnt anything except knowing more of the story. And the small fact that now HE is payed from ppl on the lower "levels".
