My husband is a non-practicing Christian, and I am Eclectic Pagan. My husband will never convert, and neither will I. Our relationship is built 100% on respect...which includes respecting each other's choices, and believing that we each have enough brains to make our own decisions. I love him for a million reasons...one of them is the fact that he is exactly who he is, and will not change for me (nor will he ask me to change for him). That is a rare and wonderful quality.

Well its quit simple, they love each other, well most of the time, anyway if they do love each other then they realize that any doctrine in there own religion against marrying someone of a different faith was a rather cunning bit of dogma added by the creators of the faith to keep there sheep in line

i think it's better to marry from the same faith or even the same background if it means so much to you ,you see so many differences , and cannot compromise.
many people can compromise when it comes to religion , or are interested /fascinated by different cultures, so they marry into those communities. somtimes it's pure chemistry.

Because they love each other and don't let things like religion and ethnicity get in their way. Love isn't something that can be ordered into place depending on what some people think is acceptable. You can't help who you love and you shouldn't have to.

I don't think you really have a choice as to who you fall in love with. It just happens, and sometimes it's with someone who believes differently that you do. That's life.

Because they fall in love and want to have a family... Why not?

Because they can. My husband and I are from different worlds but he is my best friend and soul mate.
