You probably can. Probably.
But you won't find out until you eat it!
I don't recommended eating previously refrozen meat.
Probably!

I found different opinions on this. Somebody said that they had refroze their fish fillets and eaten them and had no problem.
Others said 'as a general rule, if it thaws eat what you can. Refreezing isn't a big deal healthwise so long as the fish is at least still cold after it's thawed. The problem with refreezing has to do with how the ice crystals form, it tends to tear the flesh up, aka freezer burn. When you thaw it again it turns to mush.'

Yes you can refreeze fish fillets, but the taste and texture might be affected when you cook them again. Try seasoning them to cover the taste. Tartar sauce works quite well.

I personally wouldn't eat anything that had been defrosted and then refrozen ,once a food has been defrosted I'd say the bacteria levels would increase so there's a greater chance of food poisoning

If there aren't ice crystals on it, I wouldn't refreeze it.

If your one of those animal rights activists, I strongly suggest you dont freeze them at all. It will kill them.
