I have used it before and it is a very straightforward and easy process. However, have you already received your three free credit reports that everyone is able to get annually?

I have only been able to use this successfully once, the year the program started, because one or two the the credit bureaus needed additional information, and it upset me (since I got the first one without a problem).

My understanding is that there is one truly free site. I think it may be available from the FTC.gov site.
