Just wondering how these people say we can't say Christianity is right and all others are wrong. Can they justify that? If we believe in it, why can't we view it as true religion?

I hear some secularists going around saying "All religions are the same". Never mind the fact that they have totally different doctrines and all claim each other to be false.

"All religions are peaceful"-Have you watched news lately?

"All get you to heaven"-Any justification? If all get you to heaven then why do I need to be Christian? Just asking the secular Christians mainly who keep saying this.

Just tired of hearing PC rants by people who want no judgement or absolutes in our society.

You're entirely right. To say that all religions are equally valid is to say that none of them are true. To say that it doesn't matter what you believe is to say that neither truth nor morality are important.

Since we disagree what the right belief is, it's important that society can function peacefully and provide benefit to all people in spite of religious disagreements.

I'd commend Augustine's reasoning on this to you, if you want a Christian opinion on why Christians should be tolerant and obedient to secular society.

There is no true religion. They all say theirs is true because they believe in their religion. They never studied the others religions at all, they just criticized them.

no, all religions are different and considering that they do have different beliefs and doctrines. Some are more peaceful and others are violent like Christianity and Muslims.

No religion is really peaceful, except prehaps Pagan or Buddhists? And besides, as for the news, they may stretch the truth, but yes religions are violent today.

There is no heaven. it's only a theory.

Religion is bullshit. Check out www.godisimaginary.com

You can say whatever you want, and believe whatever you want. Not all religions are the same. I believe that you found what feeds your soul, and I believe that we all go to the same place when we die. I respect your wishes and beliefs, and I'm glad you found what moves you to do good in the world (although if you consider this post "doing good in the world", I'd have to beg to differ...but whatever floats your boat). You believe that I'm a moron, and that I'm going to a fiery burning pit when I die...you, on the other hand, are going to heaven because you earned it by judging others' beliefs as "wrong", as required by your religion.

There is a right religion...ONE right religion...the one that's right for the individual.

To me, yes, i am agnostic.
I dont follow one religion because i dont feel that there is only one true belief system. Every god of every religion exists. I would never allow myself to be part of a faith that condems others for their beliefs.
I, however, dont believe that all religions are the same. or that they are peaceful.
If you believe in a heaven, and that you are going to one, then yes - you'll go to heaven.

All religions have or pretend to have a spiritual, moral and social mission.
The only really wrong religion is the one that teaches it is right to kill in God's name. That is just political fanaticism. It cannot be classified as a religion.

in all actuality there is no right or wrong religion, all religions have a peace to the . violence comes from interpretation and manipulation. even christianity has seen its sides of violence the crusades all 8 of them were all in the name of god inorder to reclaim the holy land in the name of god when it was all just to reclaim poer in that part of the middle east, the koran has been interpreted in a way to benefit the violence of its followers. if there is only one god, in one religion that would mean that god must have created all religions and faiths meaning that there is no wrong religion

I believe that all religions with the aim of bringing a person closer to God are right and good. Is YOUR God so limited that he can't handle the notion of different needs for different people? Mine isn't.

As for political correctness: It's what I BELIEVE - if you don't like it, YOU don't have to believe it. Sometimes, "political correctness" happens to be RIGHT.

Religion is a personal experience and no one can say that that experience is right or wrong for an individual.

i would never say that there is no right and wrong in religion.

all religions are equally wrong.
