I just do not understand why men find it necessary to lie about everything, but stupid stuff in particular. If you do not want me to know something, then just do not bring it up. If you do not want to be with me, tell me, do not drag me and my children through the mud again.
Advice and insight from a real man (if that even exists) would be nice.

Lying is an example of disrespecting the person you are dealing with. If you have an honest open relationship, it means you are not hiding anything and respect the person you are with. It also means you are not doing things that would be disrespectful and something that you would try and hide with a lie. Bottom line, if you care for someone enough, you are honest and truthful. If you are an immature jerk, you don't care about anyone other than yourself and will lie to protect your skin. I was in a relationship with an immature person that had to lie about everything as well. My advice, dump them and move on.

Well sorry you had to find out how some men act toward women. Some men lie to get what they want and then they leave. ANd sometimes when they leave they make sure they hurt the woman bad enough so they think all men are the same. SOmetimes you let the way a man looks from teh outside"sorta he looks liek a hunk" but he is a jackel just waiting to pounce on a innocent women and her feeling. But hopefully you will find one who will treat you they right way. ALso try to remember that an average guy woudl always treat you way better than a hunk would ever do.

Why do women lie?
Come on. You can't stereotype like that.
Maybe you've come across men that lie, but you must ask yourself WHY you have that kind of luck.
Have you been looking for pretty-boys or ended up with some posers?
Maybe the ones that don't lie don't meet your "standards" with their looks or wallet thickness?
Don't kill all men with a question like that please.

Plain and simple, men that lie are insecure jack*sses. There is actually a "rare" species of male out there called a "gentleman." Good luck finding one. I hear they're becoming more difficult to locate!
