met this guy after I had broken up with my boyfriend and we dated and he was a great guy, he really was very caring and gentle...we never was very intimate but on a few occasions and I stopped him because I was not over my boyfriend and did not know if we were going to get back together, well...I went back to my BF and dumped this guy hard and he was hurt pretty badly and I knew he really cared for me...Well, things went bad again with my BF and I think I made a mistake in retrospect, When I think about things now, Its pretty easy to see how this guy really cared for me and was willing to go as slow as need be to win my heart, Its been 3 months now and I was rude to him the last time we spoke and even hung up on him dispite he did nothing to warrant or deserve that treatment espically since he was so hurt and even nice to me at that point and time. I want to call me but I am afraid to..should I ? what can I say to him to get hm to 4give me ?

Be certain the ex-bf is the EX-bf.
Be honest.
Be sincere.
Be prepared to strike out, because you burned that bridge pretty badly, but maybe not beyond repair.
