I'm going to africa this december and i attempted to do a fundraiser to help schools in africa but our county prohibits donating money to causes so is there any organizations i could help with supplies or something?? or any ideas?

You could donate funds to humanitarian aid that supports the schools in Africa directly... gets you around the catch where you can't give money to them directly.

Non-government organizations have rules for channeling donations to other countries. Coordinate with the Department of Social Welfare for more details.

or other micro loan orgs. teach a man to fish, dont make him dependent on you for fish. microloans do this, and thus help the society as a whole. :)
