Your weight sounds as if it is about right for your height and age..give or take a few pounds, so just go on the way you are and don,t let yourself get worried about things like this. Fresh fruit and vegetables, plenty of carbohydrates for growth and protien from meat and fish for your general health, ordinary exercise and you should be just fine. If you try to get too thin whilst your body is still growing then you can do all sorts of damage it. No one who is still growing should go on a diet unless their doctor says so and even then, only with medical advice and supervision!

No, you are just right. I should know. I am about 90 and almost 13! I weigh too less, but I am not anorexic. When I was 10, I weighed 85 and the said I was perfect. I was a little shorter than that too.

According to the Child and Teen BMI calculator below, you are well within the healthy range, whether you are 80 or 90 lbs. I think more importantly, you should not worry about your weight and do exercise, eat healthy and go to the doctor for checkups regularly.

HI GIRL. ARE U TRYING TO GET US TO DIVIDE BY 2.54? HUN, IT DEPENDS ON MANY THINGS. LOOK IN THE MIRROR! SOME GIRLS CAN BE OVERWEIGHT AND THEIR FRIENDS WOULD ASK THEM TO STAY THE SAME! SEE, THAT IS ANOTHER'S OPINION! KEEP EATING MEAT AND VEGGIES AND LESS OF POTATOES AND NOODLES. ADJUST ONLY A LITTLE AND YOU WILL SEE THE DIFFERENCE,,, P.S. MOST OF US NEED MORE VEGETABLES... EAT MORE VEGGIES! PICK THE ONES U LIKE AND SELECT THE ONES THAT ARE GOOD FOR YOU AND MOVE THEM INTO YOUR MEALS. YOUR PARENTS WILL HELP,, IF YOU HAVE THE FACTS!... THAT WILL HELP TAKE OFF THE EXCESS! YOUR PARENTS MAY HELP, BUT, U MUST COOPERATE WITH THEM AND THEIR LIMITATIONS. LOVE YOU.. GROW AND BE STRONG IN SELF AND GOD. GOD BLESS. EARL

You are too young to be worrying over your weight! Unless your doctor, parents, and school pe teacher is telling you that you're having a problem....Don't let your weight be something you worry about. You sound very healthy to me.

If you are concerned about your weight please speak to your mom and dad and seek advise from your doctor. He or she will let you know what is a healthy weight range for your height and age. Remember you are growing and need nourishment everyday. Good luck.

No you are in the middle of it. I was taking a lesson in science class about the body mass and this question was part of it. You are really healthy. Hope I helped.
