Changes in running are, you could say, gradual.
There is really no way to run a minute faster in two days, unless of course, you've been going very, veeery slowly on the miles that you do now.
But still, I doubt you could.

My cross country coach told us that, the workouts we do a day or two before our meets don't really effect us. It's the ones that we did a week before that take an impact on our improvement for the meet we have the next day.

I don't know any special workouts, but whatever u do, don't do too much of it, because you'll need the energy for the next day's mile. My advice is to run, but not too much, the days before and when the time comes, just do your best. Eat healthy foods and drink lots of water. Good luck.

You want to shave a minute off your time in the mile in two days? Unless your "normal" pace is pretty slack, that's not going to happen.

It depends. How fast is your current mile? Are you really going as hard as you can normally? If not you may be able to accomplish your goal. If you go hard all the time, probably not.

Yes. it is very possible. I run 400 for track, but, I know distance kids do atleast 7-8 miles a day, so I'd work out much more and do a heavier work out such as hills, sprints, things like that. but make sure you stretch and if your running on streets/cement make sure you stretch your lower legs. you do NOT want shin splints. But deff. run hills it will help you out a lot and the sprints will also help you too. GOod luck!

do 4 400's with a 2min. jog between each one (around 2-2.5 min per lap.)
do 3 800's with a 3-3.5min jog in between(4-4.5 mins per lap)

REMEMBER "ALWAYS TRY YOUR BEST" and dont expect this mile to be as fast as you want it to. its hard to get that much faster in two days but you can try!. GOOD LUCK!
