There is no one "best dog ever", because what is best for one person may not be best for another. There are over 250 breeds worldwide, and about as many different kinds of people to own them.

Everyone has their own preference. Mine is chihuahuas. I have owned many breeds of dogs and many mutts, but the one that I have owned for over 30 yr is the chihuahua. The make the best pets, very loving, loveable, loyal, cuddly, smart. Just the best.

Golden Retrievers. They are loving, loyal, and they're just big ole babies. They're really energetic, so you have to spend SOME time training them to control their excitement, but since they're so smart it shouldn't be a problem. And they have pretty hair. I'm gonna say that the only harm they'd do to a person (owner or stranger) would be licking them to death. If you're an active person, it would be the best doggie for ya!

Depends on what you are looking for! Personally I love mutts because there are never any others like your dog! My favorite purebreed by far is the Border Collie, though. High energy, devotion, and super intelligence make it wonderful!

If you are looking to get a dog it depends on your family's size, age, activities. You need to research. But, if you are just asking-My long coat chihuahua. Definately, a breed not for everyone. Next time I would adopt a mutt!!

Cockapoos! I have two, a boy and a girl. They are from the same Toy Poodle father, but 2 different Cocker Spaniel mothers. They are so loving and loyal. Another great plus is that they don't shed. Their fur is more soft than a lot of other breeds, it's a lot like our human hair. Good Luck.

mine i have had lots of dogs in many years the one i have had now for 10 years is got to be the best ever his nature is the best ever he is a german sheperd cross collie a big handsome dog rusty in colour and rusty in name everone loves him all the children in our scheme come over to our garden and ask him for an elvis smile and thats what he gives them so funny and they love it.
