Depends on the conditions? Are the park equipment in disrepair ie, broken hold downs, sharp edges, weak or rotted structures? Or perhaps the up keep of the park is not up to your standard. Trash not collected promptly, broken bottles stroone over the grounds? What's safe today, was a world of imagination and discovery when I was younger. It seems that today we expect nothing to be out of sorts or that a fall to the ground with a skinned knee is a bad thing.

Yes, things that are truely hazzards should be reported to your local parks commision, you can typically find them at the town hall. But I'd really be more interested in what you think is "Unsafe"? If you only knew the things I used to do as a child and lived to tell about them.

We are fortunate in Louisville, KY. We have a web site that we can inform the public works about problems with roads, parks, or anything else light burnt out street lights, etc.

To help even further, we have a phone line that is 311. Instead of having to sift through the government offices, just call 311 and tell them the problem and where it is, and they will contact the right people for you.

good system. All large towns need the same.
