Well, as with a couple others. I'm 6'3" and I date shorter girls. Currently, my GF is a bit shorter than you, I think 5'3".
Those guys who say you're too short have one of two things: some wierd...freakish...problem with people who are either too tall or short, OR are like...7' tall and you really are too short.
In most cases, height isn't an issue to anyone, so don't worry about it too much. Anyone who says you're too short has issues.

To be 5'5" for a girl isn't short at all, I'd say average, or maybe a shorter average. I'd say short is around 5' to 5'3". People who like short girls like that range. I think your height has the best of both worlds because you are not too short and not too tall.
I'm 5'9" and personally most of my GFs have been around 5'4" to 5'6"

Heck no!
I can say that being only 5 ft. I would love to be 5' 5.
You can have the best of both worlds at that height. Not too short, not too tall. Gives you more to pick from.

no there is this girl that my friend goes with and he is 5'10'' and the girl is like 4'7'' because she is short as heck! lol and they be soing a lot of things if you know what i mean!/

No ur not short.. I'm 5'7", But, I know this girl in my class whose 4'11" lol
