I am trying to restore files from backup thru Nero.
does it matter what version you use?
backed up the files in windows xp
trying to restor in windows vista, but having trouble.
any suggestions?

i was using nero 6 to back the files up, and just downloaded nero 8 to restore them!

well i obviously had a blonde moment, figured it out how to get it to restore, most of it didn't work, but i got what i needed to restore. so that's a good thing!

As a software developer, your question is every developers nightmare, you need to provide info on what version of Nero you were using for the backup, what version of Nero you are on now, and then a deatil description of your problem, what you provided is almost next to nothing for anyone trying to help.
