Problem - which bible?

There are many many different versions, each claiming to be the only "right" one.

Therein spells a conflict and a hypocrisy.

Hey :)
following the Bible, and following the Quran, are two very similar, but also very different concepts.
Muslims on one hand believe that both the Quran and the Bible are revelations of god, but one had become corrupted and replaced with another. The Quran is believed to have descended in order to "fix" previous religious scripts (i.e the Bible) and guide mankind. Islam stipulates that muslims respect the Bible and are not to vandalize or disrespect it in any way, as it is believed to once contain the word of god.
As a result of this, the god of the Bible, and Allah of the Quran, are believed to be the same being.
For christians this is very different as christians reject the authenticity and the message of the Quran. as the Quran is believed by some to be a creation of man, this refutes the concept of the god of the Bible being the same of that of the Quran, as one is believed to be real and the other "not" real.
I hope this answers your question.

It would be difficult, to belong to two different religions, at the same time. All religion may connect you to God in a different way, with a slightly different image. Our good and very moral God, wants you to find the image of God that works for you. To get close to God, what counts the most, is that you are a good person contributing positively to the world. You only can contribute in a truely positive way if you have a good connection with God. God treats good people fairly after they die.

There are lots of murders and violence in the history of Christianity but NONE of it is "ordered" in the New Testament, the Christian part of the Bible. All the violence in Christianity history have come from the wicked minds of those who wanting political power hid behind Christianity to achieve it.

Please, don't compare the New Testament to the Quran, it's sacrilegious....

No, they are not the same God. Anyone who has really read the Bible can see that. The instructions in the Koran for getting to heaven are "works-based". The Bible is "faith-based."

Yes they should.
It would be better if they wish to be Guided.
God (in Quran) teaches us Muslims to not disregard the revelations that he sent before The Holy Quran.

I'm sorry I cannot remember and refer you to the chapter or the verse number, but when you recite The Holy Quran you will run across it.

The muslim god actually originated from a pagan moon god, which the Bible says is a demon.

No, sorry. Because people who believe in the Bible cannot also follow a book that contradicts it.

But one must admit the similarities-surely can we not accept that social conditioning cannot be to blame for differences?Religion is a dicey subject-but when you become accustomed to a little of many-there are many similarities!

If I am following after the truth, why should I fallow after the lie? If I'm following after light, why should I follow after darkness? If we spend genuine money, should we spend counterfit as well?
