Can someone explain this to me? I have candle charts, corresdpondences for rituals/spells, but no where does it say why I can't simply blow out the candle. Do I need a candle snuffer? What to do??

Pinching out candles if fine according to most... snuffing is good too. I personally prefer snuffing because I don't want to accidentally burn my fingers, which I need to play an instrument with.

The problem with blowing them out is that you sort of disrespect the elements by saying that air overcomes fire.

It sounds like you have a source material problem.

Seriously, if the materials you are using tell you not to pinch or blow out a candle but not why, you need better source material.

A Wiccan or other Pagan concerned about minutiae like candles and correspondences isn't getting it.

What do the gods tell you is the right way?

What I was taught was that the flame carries the spirit of the ritual, when you are finished, you have to "close the book" so to speak. If you blow out the candle, it interupts that which is already being sent.

If you blow out the candle you are using one element to extinguish another. From personal experience it hurts to use your fingers to pinch it out.

Jesus is the only way to keep your light lit. He will snuff out your light without Him as your Savior. You do not need a candle snuffer. You already have One. Let Jesus be your light, and the light that shines in you eternally.
