Hosea 9:14-16 (NIV) (Hosea prays to the LORD!) Give them, O LORD-what will you give them? Give them wombs that miscarry and breasts that are dry. (God rushes to answer on the spot!) "Because of all their wickedness in Gilgal, I HATED them there. Because of their sinful deeds, I will drive them out of my house. I will no longer love them; all their leaders are rebellious. Ephraim is blighted, their root is withered, they yield no fruit. Even IF THEY BEAR CHILDREN, I WILL SLAY their cherished OFFSPRING."

God always answers our prayer if we ask him “according to his will”. Amen?

Jeremiah 16:3-4 (NIV) For this is what the LORD says about the sons and daughters* (*BABIES?) born in this land and about the women who are their mothers and the men who are their fathers: "They will die of deadly diseases. They will not be mourned or buried but will be like refuse lying on the ground. They will perish by sword and famine, and their dead bodies will become food for the birds and the beasts

2 faced, isn't he. Loving and murdering. What a combination. Or, is it love to murder. The Sumerian version of god says that he put humans through hell trying to kill them completely off because we made too much noise for him to take a nap. He tried starving us to death, disease and pestilence, any torturous way he could think of to slowly kill us off as painfully as possible. Love? I don't think so.

And don't forget the flood, where he killed every baby on Earth. Because the world was 'violent.'

Edit: Are you people serious? God had a right to kill the babies, because they were wicked? I've personally never met a wicked baby.

God has a dead baby fetish. It's a bit strange, I know. But He's God after all, He can do whatever He wants to anyone whenever He wants to. And we just have to sit and back and somehow put up with it.

The places that are talked about in these passages were places that went against the word of God; blatantly disobeyed them or just didn't listen even if God sent messengers.
Don't take his words out of text.
